The Story

Arthea is a Bali-based fashion brand specializing in handcrafted rattan bags, wallets, tropical dresses, and artisanal footwear made by skilled local artisans. Our story began during the pandemic, a time when Bali’s tourism industry collapsed and thousands of artisans lost their main source of income.

As a Balinese local, I felt called to find a way to support our community and preserve Bali’s traditional craftsmanship. I started connecting with artisans across the island, discovering their exceptional weaving and leather-crafting skills, and learning about the cultural heritage behind every handmade piece.

From this mission, Arthea was created- a fashion brand built on sustainability, ethical production, and authentic Bali artistry.

Today, Arthea brings chic, stylish, and timeless Bali fashion items to customers around the world. Each piece is carefully handcrafted using locally sourced materials such as natural rattan, leather, and tropical fabrics. Our products are not mass-produced; they are made in small batches with love, skill, and attention to detail.
